A hike & fly race in the 3D race view: walkers become paragliders at launch.

Race day

Live map and 3D race view, interim scoring while the task is flown, report back and roll call after it: you know who landed and who is still out.

Setup by conversation

Falco in Alpium, or Claude through the Alpium connector, create the event, the formula, the tasks and the registration form, asking about every setting rather than guessing.

Results and audit

Provisional and final boards, the scoring analysis that explains the winner’s points, and a per-task audit of every track: signature, gaps, altitude source.

The event’s own site

A microsite with your branding, registration and payment, live map, standings, share cards and your own domain.
Set up with AI

Tell it the race.It builds it.

Describe your event to Falco, the assistant inside Alpium, or to Claude through the Alpium connector. It creates the event, the scoring formula, the tasks and the registration form, asks about every setting instead of guessing, and nothing goes public until you say so.

  1. 1
    In Alpium, with Falco

Open your event and press Falco: it reads your rules or regulation PDF, proposes each piece, and you apply it with one click.

  2. 2
    In Claude, with the connector

In Claude add a custom connector with the address api.alpium.io/mcp and sign in with your Alpium account: Claude can then create and run your events as you.

  3. 3
    You stay in charge

Every open question is listed until you answer it; registration, going public and publishing a task wait for you, and nothing is ever deleted or finalised by the AI.

Autopilot

Results live,while they fly.

Switch autopilot on for a race task and every track that arrives is attached to its pilot’s task and scored on its own, the whole race re-scored after each one. Pilots and spectators follow provisional results live; you confirm the final board.

Every track, scored

From the app at the moment the pilot presses stop, from a tracker, or from an uploaded IGC or GPX file.

The best copy wins

Two copies of the same flight never count twice: the one that covers the task best is kept, and a score you locked is never displaced.

Nothing guessed

A track that could belong to more than one task waits for you on the scoring page, with the reason written next to it.
Race formats

Any format.Yours too.

The formats below run today. A new one is a formula built from the same settings: Falco drafts it from your rules or regulation PDF and quotes the passage behind every setting, and you review it before it scores anyone.

GAP cross-country

Paragliding and hang gliding races to goal, scored to FAI S7F 2026: start gates, validity, leading and arrival points.

Hike & fly race

Time races to goal on foot and in the air (FAI S7L), points by finishing position, distance to goal for those short of it.

Turnpoint challenge

Points per turnpoint reached on the ground, in the air or on a summit, in any order the rules allow.

Fastest on the route

Many routes, as many attempts as you like, your best time counts: routes completed first, then total time.

Season challenge

All year, every outing counts: metres climbed, summits, new ground, energy on the trail, a bonus for going together.

Championships

Rounds and series across several events, with categories, team results and countback ties.
Live tracking · 3D race view · every sport

Watch the raceas it happens.

Every athlete as the figure of their sport, on the real terrain, with the task’s turnpoints, a live order and a camera that follows whoever you tap. Thirty seconds behind real time, so every movement is drawn from a real fix.

Tracked from the Alpium app, GPS trackers, FLARM through the Open Glider Network, and APRS.

Any device

If it has a position,Alpium can track it.

One pipeline for every source: the Alpium app, trackers over TCP and MQTT, FLARM through the Open Glider Network, APRS, and files. A new tracker protocol is a plug-in, not a redesign.

Phone apps

The Alpium app for iPhone and Android: live tracking, SOS and impact detection, the task in the cockpit.

TCP trackers

JT/T 808 trackers (TK905 and the wide JT808 family) and Queclink GL320M, protocol detected on its own.

MQTT devices

Devices such as ESP32 boards over MQTT, with TLS and every message signed.

FLARM and APRS

FLARM and ADS-L through the Open Glider Network, and APRS for radio amateurs.

Files and services

IGC and GPX uploads, XContest, Garmin and Strava imports.

Your device

Something else? Its protocol is added as a handler, and it joins the same pipeline as everything above.

Report back

After the task each pilot taps landed OK, need a ride or need help, and the directors see who is still out.

Overdue alerts

Say when you will be back; if you are not, your contacts are told, even if your phone is dead.
