Two products, one platform
Alpium started with outdoor sport. The same tracking, sensors and evidence trail now protect people at work.
For athletes and events
GPS tracking, live race management, competition scoring and flight analytics for paragliding, hiking, running and sailing. Used by pilots, clubs and federations.
Open the appFor safety at work
The safety app for people who work outdoors, at height and alone. It notices when something happens, gets help moving, and leaves a record you can defend.
Talk to usWhat Alpium Business does
Built around how an incident actually unfolds: it is noticed, somebody responds, the conditions that caused it are watched, and every decision is on the record.
It notices
The phone in the worker’s pocket is the sensor.
- Impact and fall detection from the accelerometer, working with the screen off and in the background
- Tuned to the kind of work: rope access, confined space, driving, lone worker. A driver hitting potholes needs a different threshold from a technician on a rope
- At height, a barometric altitude drop corroborates a real fall, which acceleration alone cannot distinguish from a dropped phone
- SOS, person-down and hazard reports the worker raises themselves, in two taps
Somebody responds
An alert nobody answers is not an alert.
- Tiered channels: an on-screen alarm and a push immediately, then email and SMS only once nobody has answered
- Digital roll call after an evacuation: who was on site, who has reported safe, who has not, scoped to the site that raised the alarm
- For anyone unaccounted for: their photo, one-tap calling, and a request to their phone for its position right now
- A false alarm stands down every screen it reached, so nobody keeps searching
Conditions are watched
Most incidents were foreseeable an hour earlier.
- Per-site limits you set: gusts, wind, rain, wind chill, thunderstorms, fog
- Remaining daylight measured against the time your crew needs to clear the work position, which is the condition supervisors misjudge most
- Alpium reports the numbers. The supervisor decides, and the decision is filed with the values that justified it
- Sites, clock-in points and work types drawn on a map, with hours recorded from real presence
It is on the record
The part that matters months later.
- Every safety decision written to a tamper-evident log, anchored so a later edit cannot pass as the original
- Photo and video evidence attached to the entry it belongs to
- Digital ID badge: photo, employer, badge number, and whether that person is clocked in on this site right now
- Hours, sites, company details and emergency contacts, on every worker’s phone
The software never decides to stop work
Alpium reports that a measurement is past the limit you set. It does not know the task, the crew, what shielding exists, or what your supervisor can see out of the window. Deciding to stop or carry on needs all of that, so it stays with the accountable person, and what gets recorded is their decision together with the conditions behind it. A documented choice to carry on is a stronger record than no record at all.
AI that watches the video and reads the plan
Site video is already evidence, but somebody has to watch it. We are building a narrative AI that describes what a clip actually shows in plain language, then checks it against the operational safety plan for that site: was the guardrail there, was the harness clipped, was the exclusion zone respected. The point is not to catch people out. It is to turn hours of footage nobody reviews into a written record that says whether the plan was followed, attached to the entry it belongs to.
Tell us what your crews do and where. We will tell you honestly whether this fits.
